The Wingmakers opened the scoring through Beau Cornish in the opening minutes. George Peers netted and Adam Davies struck twice to give the Bus a four-goal cushion at the break.
A second goal for Peers and third for Davies in the second half ensured a comprehensive triumph, despite the Daffs finding the net twice themselves through Connor Bird and Dafydd Carruthers in the final 45 minutes.
The three points on the road means the Bus have now won their last seven matches in all competitions.
Steve O’Shaughnessy had a strong squad to pick from for the fixture with Joe Palmer returning to the starting line-up in place of the injured Nathan Brown.
There was no adjustment period to an unfamiliar grass surface required by Airbus who raced out of the traps.
Jake Eyre broke away on a swift counter-attack with just five minutes on the clock. One-on-one with goalkeeper Luke Evans, the forward was unable to slot home as the man between the posts produced an excellent save.
The disappointment of missing a chance to open the scoring was compounded for Eyre when he was forced off with a muscle injury and replaced by Peers soon after.
It was not long until the Wingmakers broke the deadlock following Peers’ introduction. Beau Cornish found space on the edge of the box and his deflected strike trickled into the net to give O’Shaughnessy’s side a well-deserved lead.
In the 16th minute, super-sub Peers doubled the advantage. Ghosting into the box, the winger latched onto a loose ball and fired into the top corner with venom on his stronger right foot.
There was a confidence flowing through the Airbus team as the hosts struggled to breakout of their defensive shape. Joe Palmer and Davies both had opportunities to add a third but for a couple of neat stops by Evans.
After 30 minutes of relentless pressure, the Wingmakers' defence was finally called into action. Gaz Edwards was on hand to clear a shot off the goal line to temporarily preserve the clean sheet.
Normal order was restored when Davies showcased his goalscoring instincts to tap in a rebound after Peers saw his close range shot parried.
The in-from striker then bagged his second on the brink of half time. Cornish slipped through an inch-perfect through ball and our number 19 caressed his finish past Evans with ease.
A sense of complacency creeped into Airbus' performance at the beginning of the second half. A drop in standards was punished when Bird headed home for Llanidloes to provide increased hope of an unlikely comeback.
However, the Bus bounced back in emphatic fashion. In the 64th minute, Davies danced by his defender and picked out Peers six-yards out who tapped home into the empty net.
After having little to do throughout the match, Lewis Dutton exhibited his impressive shot stopping and high concentration levels to deny Bird with an eye-catching finger-tip save.
But Dutton could do little to prevent Carruthers from making it 2-5 in the latter stages. The forward rattled in a shot from inside the box.
Carruthers goal appeared to be the last in an exciting contest at Victoria Park, but Davies had other ideas. Cornish once again found the goal-hungry man who completed his hat-trick and rounded off a fantastic result for the Bus.
The Wingmakers are back in league action on September, 18, at The Hollingsworth Group Stadium against Colwyn Bay in the JD Cymru North.
