Airbus U10s V FAW Girls (H)
Airbus u10s welcomed FAW U11s girls the game started really open and both teams looking for an early goal, after a really good 20 minutes of football airbus started pressing really high cutting off all the passing lanes they made it really difficult for FAW to play.
The game finished really close and was a good learning curve for both teams.

Airbus U11s V FAW Girls (H)
This weekend seen U11s host the FAW u13 girls. Airbus demonstrated and retained the ball very well moving in to dangerous pockets of space. The opposition made it hard for us to move forward in to the final third but we eventually found a way. Pleasure to host and a great display of football by both teams
Play of the week – Lucas Lovell outstanding all morning read the game from start to finish and didn’t stop.
Airbus U12s – FAW Girls (A)
Airbus 12s played away at Colliers Park against FAW girls under 14s in a 11v11 game
The game itself was tricky for the lads to understand positioning and structure of a 11 aside match. Never less the lads scored the first goal from a very good press on the girl’s keeper which resulted in a goal. The lads defended well and stopped a lot of attacks from the girls
We then managed to score another goal from a lovely through ball in to our striker who finished excellently.
Towards the end the girls kept the ball well and put a lot of pressure on the lad’s defence who coped really well. We did finally have a penalty which our midfielder finished brilliantly

Airbus U13s – FAW Girls (A)
The boys made the short journey to Colliers park to play the FAE regional north u16 girls, an entertaining game on a good surface in bright sunshine.
Good football played by both teams in the first half, the boys were a little stand offish against the girls and one or two errors crept in in our final third which left us 4-2 down at the break, our goals coming from Dafydd Edwards and Harry Williams.
We regrouped at half time, the boys got much tighter and cut out the individual errors moving the ball forward much quicker than in the first half.
The boys won the second half 5-1, our goals coming from a header from Henry jones, a second half hat trick from Harry Williams to add to his first half goal, and a goal from Toby Owens.
Overall a 7-5 win against a very good girls’ team who played excellent football in both halves.
Man of the match Harry Williams, 4 goals again in a match, enjoying his new central role leading the attack, always a handful for opposition defences, well done boys .
Airbus Under 19s – Bala Town (H)
Sunday Airbus 19’s hosted Aberystwyth in the National Academi North Development League
Airbus started the game stronger than normal totally dominating the ball from the first moment
From very early on Airbus created chances from such long periods of control and put on a very dominating performance
The visitors defended very well as they had lots of action to cope with as it came wave after wave but eventually on 34’ through Ieuan Jones-Wellstead assisted by Franek Sadczuk Airbus took advantage of some excellent football taking the lead 1-0
Not letting the standards drop after taking the lead we managed to create more chances and should of probably punished them a bit more, HT 1-0 Airbus
Second half started a little soft for Airbus after such a strong end to the first half but Airbus still managed to get some reasonable control of the ball. Some very nice phases of play leading to the final third yet we just could not put the ball in the back of the net. Airbus went closest from a clever free kick as Archie Floate made the visitors GK pull off a fantastic save to keep the score line tight
In the last moments of the game it became a little more open than we would have liked but still felt we were in good shape behind the ball. Final score 1-0 Airbus taking us back to the top of the league
Player of the week goes to Robbie Jones. Robbie reads the game very well and has a big impact on the squad. Robbie has played 180’ this weekend and worked his socks off in two very difficult fixtures leading by example and contributed to a lot of good moments in the final third through clever passes or good movement. Well done Robbie
Airbus Reserves – NFA (A)
Airbus reserves travelled to N.F.A Saturday morning looking to continue our unbeaten run in the league.
Airbus started well and took an early lead. The hosts then began to deal with the conditions better than Airbus and eventually equalised just before half time.
The second half began much like the first half ended and Airbus were unable to adapt to the grass pitch as well as we would have liked.
A deflected shot looped over and in. A third quickly followed after a mistake at the back. A fourth came towards the end of the game as Airbus started to adapt to the conditions and create chances, but unfortunately it was too late.
A loss but valuable learning and another grass pitch awaits this week which provides a chance to put those learnings into practice.
Player of the week goes to Josh Edwards. Josh has just returned from injury and is showing excellent progress. Well done Josh!
