Friday will be the first meeting between Airbus and Caernarfon this season as both teams look to build on a strong start to the Season.
Last week both teams earned credible wins with Airbus coming from 2-0 nil down to secure three points with a great comeback to win the game 3-2. Caernarfon secured a 3-1 win against Briton Ferry at home.

Our meetings have all come in the JD Cymru Premier, with Caernarfon coming out on top in all previous meetings. Our first meeting was in August 2019 at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium as Andy Owens gave the Wingmakers before Caernarfon were let back into the game via an own goal from goal keeper Dave Roberts. Ryan Edwards put Airbus back in front, but The Cofi’s did well to turn the game round to win 3-2, with goals from Darren Thomas and Jamie Breese.

The most recent matches were in the Cymru Premier 2022/23 Conference play off. Our home game ended 2-0 to the visitors as goals from Rob Hughes and Joe Faux secured the victory. The return fixture at The Oval finished 4-0 to Caernarfon. Airbus found themselves 1-0 down after a minute and their evening went from bac to worse when Gareth Edwards was shown a red card. Caernarfon also managed to miss two penalties that evening as Sion Bradley and Daniel Gosset both missed from the spot.

Friday under the lights looks set to be a good game, and we appreciate all the support! #UPTHEBUS
