Simon Spender signs for the Wingmakers

We are delighted to announce the signing of former The New Saints full back Simon Spender for the season.

The 35-year-old had initially retired earlier in the year following a ten-year spell at TNS where he racked up over 200 appearances.

However, the opportunity to play for the Wingmakers is one too good to turn down for the Welshman.

Spender has also played for Wrexham in his career as well as being capped by Wales U21's on six occasions.

The defender will offer a wealth of experience to the group as well as his undoubted ability as a player on the pitch.
