Well done to all the below players that were nominated by their coaches for The Team Of The Week:

U8

Bobby Dean -  Showed great vision to find a pass that only he could see and his desire to work back in the transition and make several last ditch tackles to restrict Flint having an affect on the game in both directions.

Jack Thomas - A fine defensive display, calmness on the ball and excellent decision making in key moments, in and out of possession.

Klay Galbraith - Took the midweek training topic and applied it into the match, looking for the space and utilising it well to help his team attack.

U9

Luke Booth (GK) - Improved distribution with speed along with vital saves when needed.

Fred Lewis - Had a great weekend with some quality finishing and defensively led the line from the front.

U10

Harri Jones - Harri dominated his 1v1 situations on the wing when needed and also played some brilliant one touch football that created a lot of chances for the team. Well done Harri.

U12

Jack Mitchell - Played in the 6 position and consistently halted the Flint attack before finding a secure pass, which allowed us to build an attack of our own.

U13 GIRLS

Neveah Byles - Energetic performance in midfield in midweek and looked increasingly accomplished at centre back both defensively and in possession. Well done Neveah.

U13

Evan Roberts - Very reliable & consistent week in week out. A rock at the back and is comfortable when carrying the ball into midfield areas or when playing out passes from defensive areas. It is exciting as we have only just scratched the surface of his ability and he will continue to progress week by week. A very promising start to the season by Evan who has settled nicely into the squad.

U14

Harri Phythian - Was a thorn in the Flint side all game with his movement. Either creating space or movement to link up play, or his pressing and positive aggression in closing down Flint. Icing on the cake of a sweet performance by him was that he scored the equalising goal. Well done Harri.

U15

Nathan Bennion - Best performance of the season. Defended well 1v1, good positioning with back four, and was quality on the ball. All the thing we have been asking him to do recently came good today.

U16

Danus Kulikauskas - Danus was tremendous in and out of possession against flint. Winning second balls and positioning to sustain the attack was excellent which allowed us to control the first half comfortably. When he came back on in second half he brought the same attributes which massively helped us regain a little more control. He worked his socks off and shown his qualities when he had the ball making some brilliant team decisions with his choice of pass.

U19

Finn Savage - Was a constant thorn in the side of the Flint Town Utd defence.
