Blaine joined us last June from TNS, as he brought an abundance of experience to the squad as Airbus pushed for promotion.
Hudson made his appearance in the opening game of the season against Buckley Town FC as he was second half substitute, as he replaced Kieran Evans as he bolstered the defence to secure a 3-0 win on the opening day.
In the first 10 games of the Cymru North, Blaine secured 7 clean sheets from 10, as Airbus went on to win on to win 8 out of the 10 games, in a great start to the season. Gresford at home was when Blaine got his first assist of the season. A corner came out to Sam Rickett who played the ball into Jordan Evans, the No.9 delivered an inviting ball to the back post, which Hudson headed down into the danger area to set up Dan Collins to put the ball in the back of the net. Assists also followed in another 3-0 win against Buckley, this time he set Joe Palmer up on the stroke of half time, and his third was in our biggest win as a club in a 8-0 triumph over Mold Alexandra as the tall defender got his head once again to a corner from Evans to head the ball down into the path of Josh Stevenson.
Last Season, Blaine went on to make 34 appearances (27 in the league), scoring one goal in the league coming against Guilsfield away as he volleyed the ball into the back of the net from a Mason Blackwell-Jones free kick. His other goal came in the 6-0 win against Ruthin Town in the NEWFA Challenge Cup quarter final.
In a successful season for the WingMakers, Blaine helped Airbus secure a second-place finish and promotion to the Cymru Premier, as well as silverware as he won himself a medal and the Welsh Blood Cup as they beat Treowen Stars at Newtown.
Blaine was a brilliant addition to the squad last season, who brought a lot of experience in our promotion push, but he was also a big character around the club.
We would like to thank Blaine for last season, and we wish him all the very best on the next part of his footballing journey.
