Airbus looking to make it 9 consecutive wins in the League

After an impressive win against Buckley Town on Saturday with goals coming from Joe Palmer, Jordan Evans and George Peers to extent their unbeaten run to 8 in the JD Cymru North and 11 in all competitions.

This week we are on the road as we make the trip to Caersws FC on Saturday afternoon.

Blaine Hudson knows Saturday will be a tough game, “We have another test away from home on Saturday. Caersws have been in good form, and we won’t be taking anything for granted.

I am so proud to be part of this group, especially over the last few weeks. We have grown a lot as team, and everyone has played their part in getting us over the line in certain games

We will take each game as it comes with a professional attitude and desire to keep this ‘train’ going

Our meeting at The Hollingsworth Group Stadium against our hosts in September, saw the WingMakers come away 4-0 winners, but Caersws didn’t make it easy for Airbus.

Caersws came to frustrate Airbus, and they did well to keep the score at 0-0 going into half time. Patience in the game was key, and it was down to Airbus to take their chances as they arose.

Two goals in quick succession gave Airbus a 2-0 lead with just over 20 minutes of the game remaining. First goal coming through Danny Warren after a lovely through ball from George Peers. The second goal Peers was involved once again as his back heel found Kaiden Cooke who sent a ball into the box for Mason Blackwell-Jones to score from close range.

A perfectly timed lob from George Peers from a great pass from Jordan Evans and Oli Lanceley finished the game off after he converted a great ball from Kieran Evans.
