Danny Warren joins Airbus from Mold Alexandra after 7 seasons with the Flintshire rivals.
Last season, Warren was a big part of a successful season for Mold. He made 25 JD Cymru North appearances with 16 league goals and 11 assists and became one of the first names in the starting line-up.
Danny is looking forward to getting going with the wingmakers, “I’m delighted to have signed for the club. It’s a big club which is well known around the Welsh leagues.
It’s been a difficult decision to leave Mold after 7 years but after speaking to Mark and Chappers and their plans, it feels like the right time to move on and test myself here.
I’m excited to get started and hopefully we can have a very successful season!”
Warren’s goals contributed to Mold’s excellent run in the Welsh Blood Service League Cup, where Mold went on to win the cup with victory over Britton Ferry. Danny’s brace was part of a 4-2 result in the final.
Mark Allen was delighted with Warren’s signing, “Really delighted to get Danny over the line. We’ve been tracking him for a while.
He very much matches our culture. He will fit in very well and score goals.
Really delighted to have him at the club”
Welcome to Airbus Danny!
