Another game under the lights for the WingMakers on Friday evening

Last week, Airbus secured a top three spot as they scored 8 past Mold to see them return to the Welsh Prem.

Friday evening we take on Denbigh Town, who when visited Hollingsworth Group Stadium scores a last minute winner to take all three points.

The lads have been quality recently and we’ve shown we can win games in different ways.
Looking forward to going back to Denbigh and playing on there top pitch where we hopefully can pick up another 3 points

In November, Airbus welcomed Denbigh Town to the Airfield on a very soggy Friday evening.

Denbigh took the lead on 24 minutes through Alfie Vaughan as Gwion Dafydd had made a good run to get the ball into the box.

The goal put the fire into Airbus as Jordan Evans equalised shortly after from a Sam Rickett pull back allowed Evans to place the ball into the top corner.

Airbus took the lead deep into injury time of the first half as Jordan Evans found George Peers with a lovely through ball, for Peers to get the touch that diverted the ball into the Denbigh goal.

Denbigh equalised on the hour through Dafydd as he sent a header towards goal which lifted over the Keighan Jones.

With the game approaching 90 minutes, Denbigh were awarded a free kick and Nathan Brown fancied his chances and his brilliant shot had enough power and dip on his shot to beat Jones.
