Evan was part of our Youth set-up when he joined the club back in 2021. He was part of our development squad and his debut come against Cefn Druids at home in September 2021. He became an ever present in our starting line up through out the 2021/22 season, scoring three goals, them goals coming against Flint Town, Bala Town and Prestatyn Town. During this season, the development team went on to reach the quarter finals of the NEWFA Horace Wynne Cup.

In Season 2022/23, Evan moved into our Reserves set up as his first game of the Season come against The New Saints, with a goal coming in his second game with a goal in a 3-0 win over Buckley Town. Similar to the season before, Smith was an ever present in the team as Airbus went on to finish 5th in the league that Season.

Evan went on to leave Airbus at the age of 18, looking for a challenge of Senior football and this led him to spells at AFC Liverpool and City of Liverpool over two seasons.

Last season, he returned to Welsh system as he joined then Cymru Premier side Bala Town in August and he became part of the squad as they started their campaign. Due to limited game time, Evan made the move to another Cymru Premier side Flint Town. He made his first start in a 3-0 win against Trearddur Bay in the JD Welsh Cup.
