Tuesday night we take on Gresford Athletic in the NEWFA Senior's Men Challenge Cup as we look to defend our title after a 4-0 win against Holywell Town in the final in May last year.

This round JD Cymru North sides enter the competition with Airbus drawing Gresford with the tie being played on familiar territory.

Last season, Gresford were knocked out in the second round as they lost to Ruthin Town. The game finished 3-3 in 90 minutes as Gresford scored in the 89th minute to take the game to penalties.

Airbus' journey was much more successful as they recorded wins against Hawarden Rangers, Lex XI and Corwen FC before going on to win against Holywell Town in the final

Goals in the final coming from George Peers, Josh Stevenson, Sam Baker and Ieuan Jones-Wellstead as they swept away their fellow JD Cymru North side to lifting the trophy.
