Airbus looking to bounce back after disappointing loss last week

After suffering only their third loss this season against Denbigh Town last Friday, Airbus are looking to put that defeat behind them and getting back to winning ways as they welcome Guilsfield to the Hollingsworth Group Stadium.

Our visitors have had a difficult run of late, losing 6 games out of 7, with an eventful draw coming against Holywell Town with a 4-4 draw.

Kieran Evans knows Airbus will have to put a good performance in this weekend, “Another game and back to the League for Guilsfield this weekend. Hopefully looking to put things right after a tough night away at Denbigh las week which was disappointing in terms of the league.
Guilsfield, themselves have had a solid season and are always hard to beat, they’ve got some good players in key positions, so we’ll have to be at it Saturday to get the three points

Our meeting earlier on in the season, saw Airbus come away with three points after a 4-1 win.

Guilsfield took the lead early on through Iwan Matthews as he was at the back post to poke home a cross from James Smallwood.

Airbus went on to draw level through Blaine Hudson on the stroke half time as he volleyed in a free kick at the back post from Mason Blackwell-Jones.

As we entered the second half, Airbus took the lead through Kaiden Cooke as he scored one of the goals of the season. Airbus were in full control four minutes later as [b]Danny Warren converted a corner from [/b]George Peers to make it 3.

The game was wrapped up 7 minutes from time, as perfectly timed through ball from Blackwell-Jones found Peers, where he found himself 1v1 with Guilsfield ‘keeper and placed the ball into the back of the net.
