Good Friday sees Airbus take the trip to the Bartons North Stadium to take on Holywell Town in the penultimate game of the season in the JD Cymru North.
Tyler McManus is looking towards an important weekend for Airbus, “We’re looking forward to a really important weekend coming up. Two huge games, starting with what will no doubt be a really tough battle away at Holywell.
We know what they’re about, and it’s crucial we stand up to the task on a difficult pitch. We’ve got no doubt that we can go there and win, but won’t come easy and we know that”
Our previous fixture back in October at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium was a stalemate as both teams struggled with the weather conditions on a very windy Friday evening.
The first half of the game was a very sharp for Airbus as they created numerous chances in the opening 20 minutes. There were chances from Danny Warren which were just off target and an inviting ball across the 6-yard box by Kieran Evans was dangerous, but Warren and George Peers were unable to find a connection.
John Danby was the busiest out of the two goalkeepers as he made some brilliant saves from Danny Warren and Jordan Evans. The vice-captain also come close as a curling shot from his left foot nearly settled in the top corner.
