Quick turn around this weekend as we welcome Holywell Town on Bank Holiday Monday

Bank Holiday Monday we welcome Holywell Town FC to the Hollingsworth Group Stadium for a busy Bank Holiday weekend.

The Wellmen have had a tough start to the Cymru Premier season and will be looking to get some points on the board and on Friday they had a goal fest on Friday as they scored 3 goals against high flying Caernarfon.

Previously our games against each other have been tough and very competitive. The last meeting we had was in the League was in the Cymru North on Easter Monday, where Airbus took all three points with goals from Mason Blackwell-Jones, Jake Roberts and Kaiden Cooke.

2025/26 Season there was 4 meetings between us both, we started the season of with a 0-0 draw at home in some very windy conditions.

Our next meeting would be in the second round of the WBS League Cup where we beat Holywell on our way to lifting the trophy at the end of the season.

Our final meeting of last season was a re-run of the previous season in the NEWFA Challenge final, where Airbus lifted the trophy for the second season running with a 4-1 victory, with two goals from Danny Warren, an opening goal from Joe Palmer and Kieran Evans finishing off the scoring.

Holywell are yet to record a point in their return to the Cymru Premier, after losses to Cardiff Met, Connah’s Quay Nomads, Llandudno, unbeaten Barry Town United, and more recently Caernarfon Town on Friday evening, but we know Monday will be good game for the supporters.

Airbus will also be looking to bounce back after a disappointing result against Barry Town on Friday evening after clawing themselves back into contention, by scoring two goals to give themselves a say in the game.
