Jake Carroll signs for the Novira Cymru Premier Season after two years at Chester FC. Carroll started his footballing journey at Buckley Town Juniors and quickly decided he wanted to take up the goalkeeping position.

At Under 11s he went on to join Connah’s Quay Nomads academy, where he spend time developing his goalkeeping skills against quality opposition. Jake’s impressive performance saw him stay with Nomads Academy up until under 14s.

At under 14s he made the switch to the WingMakers and joined the Academy, where he spent a season playing for Airbus before selecting a two-year scholarship at Chester FC.

During his scholarship he gained some great experience with Chester FC, which saw him involved in the squad for National League North fixtures. As time was limited at Chester, Jake was loaned out to Ellesmere Port during his two-year scholarship which secured him vital experience.
