M.A. "Evening, yes it has come around quickly for everyone and as a group we are keen to get going. I’m not sure any manager likes preseason as they just want to get round to competitive games, but yes the group have invested themselves in what we want to achieve and took new things on board. New players have settled in well to the dressing room culture and on the pitch too. There are always challenges over this period and things we need to address and improve, but overall it’s been positive"

We have welcomed a few new faces into the squad, how have they settled in?

M.A. "Yes very well. Pleased with they way they’ve settled into the group, become part of it and are wanting to help with the cause this season. And will"

How is the mood in the camp ahead of our game against Haverfordwest on Saturday?

M.A. "We are under no illusions that it will be a challenging game with the quality and know how they possess. However we want to give a positive account of ourselves. In the Cymru Premiership is where we want to be as a group so we have to be mentally, tactically and physically ready for all the games, so the mood is determined and ready for the game"

Your targets last season were promotion and regaining the cups, have you set targets for this league as a team?

M.A. "Yes we have internal targets for the group which we’ve spoken about and are aware of. I know it’s a cliche but we will take one game at a time and prepare right and have a plan for each team"

We moved training onto our new 4g, how important was that for preparations for this weekend?

M.A. "Brilliant as the grass pitch has been bone dry and rock hard!
No, it’s good to get on it and get a feel for it. It’s a great facility and it’s plaudits to all the team that work behind the scenes running the club that it’s been done so professionally and quickly. A great team effort from them that I applaud"

There is alot to get used to with Cymru Premier this season, including VAR?

M.A. "Yes we’ve had the meeting like everyone, but until your in it and using it we can’t comment. As we see on the tv, you just keep going until it’s pulled back"
