Airbus produced an emphatic attacking display to claim a convincing victory over Holywell, with a flurry of goals across both halves in an entertaining encounter.

The hosts started brightly and had an early opportunity in the 8th minute when Jordan Evans stepped up for a free kick in a dangerous position, but his effort was blocked by the wall.

Airbus took the lead on 15 minutes. Jordan Evans played a quick corner towards Tyler McManus, and he delivered into the Holywell box for Joe Palmer, who rose highest to head across Alex Swindell and into the net.

Kaiden Cooke was causing problems down the flank and almost created a second shortly afterwards, delivering an excellent cross that George Peers was unable to connect with. Four minutes later, Cooke was played in behind the defence and appeared set to score, only for his effort to agonisingly wide of the post.

Holywell responded in the 23rd minute. Ryan Edwards intercepted an attempted through ball from Mason Blackwell-Jones and immediately released Florian Yonsian with a lovely, weighted pass, who rounded Louie Fallon before calmly tapping into an empty net.

Airbus continued to threaten, with McManus winning possession and releasing Cooke, whose subsequent run and cross forced Mudimu into a clearance.

The home side regained the lead in the 30th minute. A foul on Jordan Evans presented Airbus with another free-kick opportunity, and Evans' pinpoint delivery found Josh Stevenson's head, with the defender directing his effort into the far corner.

Jordan Evans was again involved four minutes later, forcing a save from Swindell with another free kick. The rebound was picked up by Mason Blackwell-Jones and his delivery into the box and Jake Roberts from close range headed over.

Airbus added a third goal in the 40th minute. Cooke played the ball towards the back post, where Roberts did brilliantly to keep it alive and head it back across goal. Blackwell-Jones was on hand to nod the ball into the back of the net.

Airbus went into half time with a two-goal cushion, over Flintshire rivals Holywell.

Holywell looked to respond after the interval and Yonsian came close in the 49th minute when he latched onto a ball over the top and chipped the advancing Louie Fallon, only to see his effort drop just past the post.

Cooke continued to be a constant threat and almost added to Airbus' advantage in the 54th minute. Roberts held the ball up superbly before releasing Cooke, who rounded Swindell but saw his effort drift just beyond the far post.

Holywell were awarded a penalty in the 63rd minute after Palmer fouled Caio Hughes. Yonsian stepped up and confidently converted from the spot to reduce the deficit.

Any hopes of a comeback were short-lived, however, as Airbus restored their two-goal advantage just a minute later. Jordan Evans delivered another outstanding cross, and Peers produced a brilliant header at the back post to make it 4-2.

Two minutes later, Airbus struck again. Cooke found the net with an outstanding strike, after an initial shot from Roberts was blocked, to put further daylight between the sides.

Airbus thought they had added another in the 70th minute after some excellent work from Roberts, but Blackwell-Jones' effort was ruled out by the official for offside.

There was no stopping Airbus, though, and Cooke completed his own impressive performance in the 72nd minute. Driving inside with the ball, he finished superbly into the bottom-left corner to make it 6-2.

Airbus made their first changes two minutes later, with Oli Lanceley and Sean Moscrop introduced for Joe Palmer and Jake Roberts.

The chances continued to come. In the 78th minute, Cooke found Lanceley, who laid the ball into Blackwell-Jones. He picked out Jordan Evans arriving in support, but the midfielder's effort went just the wrong side of the post.

Cooke continued to torment the Holywell defence and was involved again in the 82nd minute, finding Peers with a dangerous ball that was blocked by Swindell.

Airbus made two further substitutions in the same minute, with Jordan Evans and Kaiden Cooke making way for James Hughes and Oli Calland.
There was still time for another opportunity in the closing stages. A well-weighted through ball released Blackwell-Jones on goal in the 89th minute, but Swindell stood up well to block the effort with his foot.

Airbus ultimately ran out comfortable winners after a dominant attacking performance. Jordan Evans' set-piece quality, Cooke's outstanding individual display and a clinical contribution throughout the side ensured Airbus secured all three points in style.
