The WingMakers were competitive throughout a closely fought first half, but a quickfire double shortly after the break put the hosts in control before a late third goal sealed the points.

Nomads thought they had taken the lead as early as the fourth minute when Jordan Hodkin converted at the near post, only for the effort to be ruled out for offside.

Airbus responded well and created the next opportunity in the 10th minute. George Peers found space on the edge of the area and got a shot away, but Chris Renshaw was equal to the effort.

Kaiden Cooke was proving a constant threat and produced one of his trademark mazy runs in the 16th minute before sending a dangerous cross into the six-yard box. Peers met the delivery but could only head wide.

The hosts continued to look for an opening and Iwan Murray was booked in the 28th minute for a poor challenge on Cooke on the halfway line.

With the interval approaching, Airbus enjoyed a promising spell. A good move down the right in the 43rd minute ended with Jordan Evans getting a shot away, but Renshaw made the save.

There was further drama in first-half stoppage time. Harry Franklin's delivery found Max Woodcock at the back post, but his effort was blocked. The loose ball fell to Hodkin, only for Josh Stevenson to produce an excellent block to keep the scores level.

Airbus continued to search for the breakthrough after the restart. In the 49th minute, a ball across the box looked inviting, but Cooke couldn't quite make the required contact to direct it towards goal.

It was Nomads who finally broke the deadlock in the 58th minute. A corner was delivered into the area, and Shane Flynn rose highest to head home and give the hosts the lead.

Just two minutes later, Nomads doubled their advantage. Hodkin found the bottom corner with a composed finish to make it 2–0.

Airbus made their first change in the 63rd minute, with Jake Roberts replacing Jack Parry.

The WingMakers gave away possession in their own final third. Callum West drove forward before attempting to square the ball to Hodkin, but Louie Fallon read the danger and made an important interception.

Cooke then raced down the left for Airbus, cutting inside before unleashing a powerful effort which flew over the bar at the near post.

Nomads were threatening to add a third and Brandon Diau produced a fantastic block in the 67th minute to deny the hosts.

Cooke continued to carry the threat for Airbus and produced another mazy run in a minute later, but his resulting effort went just wide of the post.

Jordan Evans came close to reducing the deficit with just over 15 minutes of the game remaining, when his free kick flew narrowly over the crossbar.

Airbus made a double change in the 77th minute, with Mason Blackwell-Jones and Oli Lanceley coming on for George Peers and Jordan Evans.

Nomads eventually added a third in the 80th minute. Hodkin's initial effort was saved by Fallon, but the ball fell perfectly for West, who followed up to tuck the rebound away and make it 3–0.

There was still time for Airbus to hit the woodwork. In the second minute of stoppage time, Kieran Evans delivered into the area and Lanceley got his head to the ball, only to see his effort crash against the bar.

The final whistle confirmed a 3–0 victory for Nomads.

Despite a competitive first half and several chances created by the WingMakers, the hosts' clinical spell after the interval proved decisive.
