Airbus made the trip to Denbigh Town for another Friday night game under the lights.
There was two changes to the starting XI from the Bangor game with Tom Dougherty replacing Tyler McManus due to suspension and Oli Lanceley replacing Danny Warren.
The game was very open from the first whistle with both teams creating opportunities with some end-to-end football.
Keelan Williams created the first chance of the game when a 20 yard strike from the left winger was wide of Keighan Jones’ goal.
Jones was called into action not long after a fizzing shot from Sam Duffy brought a save from the Airbus goalkeeper, which Jones managed to save and the rebound fell to Nathan Brown but his effort was hit over the crossbar.
After the efforts from our hosts, Airbus started to pile more pressure on the Denbigh Town backline.
Kaiden Cooke went close with a brilliant effort after some great work from Davies.
A free kick was rewarded to Airbus and from the resulting set piece, Oli Lanceley met the ball with a thumping header but his effort was cleared of the line by Max Cooke.
The first 20 minutes were lively, Airbus were taking the game to Denbigh and testing the home goal keeper.
Jordan Evans got himself on the act when a poor clearance from the Denbigh defence was pounced upon by Evans and his shot was brilliantly saved by Aaron Jones.
Airbus were beginning to bring mistakes out of the host's defence.
Lanceley capitalised on some sloppy play which allowed the Airbus No.19 to get a shot off but it was superbly blocked by Ben Lockley.
30 minutes gone and Airbus turned defence into attack as Owen Davies’ blocked effort fell to the visitors. Kieran Evans after his rocket of a strike last Friday against Bangor fancied himself again to get on the score sheet but the Denbigh ‘keeper pulled off a fantastic save to deny Airbus No.3.
Airbus were starting to capitalise on Denbigh’s sloppy play and James Davies should have given the WingMakers the lead but another great save from Aaron Jones kept the score at 0-0.
Four minutes before the half time break, Airbus did have the ball in the back of the net but the goal was chalked off for offside as George Peers found himself in an offside position.
Two minutes later, Airbus had their lead through James Davies.
Davies’ pace allowed him to get on the end of a ball over the top from Tom Dougherty and drilled the ball into the back of net.
Airbus taking a slender 1-0 advantage into the half time break.
Airbus started the second half how they finished the first and 10 minutes into the half, Davies delivered a cross into the Denbigh box and Lanceley was waiting at the back past to head the ball past the helpless Denbigh ‘keeper.
Just after the hour, Airbus had their third and Davies had a brace.
Kaiden Cooke sent an effort goalwards and it comes crashing of the post but Davies was in the right place to convert the rebound.
75’ minutes Denbigh were rewarded a free kick in a dangerous area.
Ex-Airbus player Nathan Brown stepped up and from 25 yards brought a great save from Keighan Jones the Airbus man managed to tip Brown’s effort on to the post and clear of danger.
Three minutes later Davies completed his hat trick, which brought his total to 7 against Denbigh this season.
George Peers threaded a great ball through to Davies and he placed the ball past Aaron Jones to give our No.20 his third of the game and secure three points for the Wingmakers.
A dominant display from Airbus and proving ruthless in front of goal with another three points to add to the total and keep their spot at the top of the league.
