16 minutes on the clock and Gresford had their first decent chance of the game, a brilliant corner was delivered into the Airbus box, but the headed effort come crashing off the woodwork.
This gave Gresford hope, and they had another chance to score when Edge played a great ball into Deacon, but his header was just over the crossbar.
20 minutes and Airbus took the lead through Baker. Davies with some great work to beat the Gresford defender and find Warren whose shot brought a great save from Dutton, but Baker made no mistake and scored his first goal of the game.
Just before half time, Gresford had a brilliant chance to equalise when excellent link up play between Mann and Gallagher-Keenan, created an opportunity for Deacon, but his shot was met by a fantastic save from Keighan Jones.
Airbus took a slender lead into the half time break.

Davies was causing a few issues for the Gresford defence with his clever runs but this time his shot was over.
52 minutes and Airbus were rewarded a free kick just left of the box.
J. Evans stepped up and his effort looked destined for the bottom corner, but another fantastic save from Dutton denied our captain.
Baker was lively from the first whistle battling in and out of possession and he had to wait a while for another chance and this time his shot was way over the bar.
Just before the hour, Airbus were caught napping when a fantastic ball forward from Johnson was met by Deacon and he lobbed the on rushing Jones to give Gresford their equaliser.
Airbus’ reaction was imminent when they were rewarded a penalty two minutes later. Some clever movement from Davies took him inside the penalty area and Dutton brought him down.
Peers stepped up to take the penalty, which was saved by Dutton low to his right, but Peers scored from the rebound to give Airbus the lead once again.
Warren was on free kick duty on 65 when he struck a fantastic effort but this time it was deflected wide.
J. Evans’ quality was on show once again in the 73rd minute, when his brilliant footwork allowed him to create space for a cross and this time it was deflected to deny a back post tap in for Davies.
Cooke was introduced for Davies with just over 15 minutes to go, and Cooke was immediately involved in the action. Cooke drove towards the box and his pull back was perfect for Peers to finish for his second.
Lanceley was introduced for Warren on 78 and as Cooke, Lanceley was involved in our 4th goal. Great pressure from Lancely, Peers and J. Evans set Baker to double his tally.
Gresford’s MOTM Mann had a chance with 6 minutes left, when his clever run inside made space for him to get a shot on target but it was comfortable for Jones on this occasion.
After returning to the starting line-up after injury K. Evans was replaced by Wissett for the final minutes.
Mann was involved again for Gresford as he found himself in a great position to take a shot which looked like it was heading for the top corner, but a great diving save from Jones denied the Gresford No. 12.
Full time and Airbus progress to the third round with a comfortable 4-1 win.
