Gaffer's thoughts on our game on Saturday against Holywell Town

Evening Gaffer, Our third final of the season and last game of the season approaches on Saturday, how proud of the squad are you?

M.A. "Extremely proud of the group this year and I include the lads from the development squad too who have stepped up.

The aims we set out to achieve for this season have nearly all happened and yes the disappointment of not being promoted is difficult, it also spurs you on to achieve it when we resume for preseason and I’m sure others in the group think the same too.

As for this game Saturday it’s another final we are in and we want to win and get another piece of silverware for ourselves and the club"

After the courageous comeback on Tuesday, are you looking forward to Saturday against Holywell?

M.A. "A completely different type of opponent that we are aware of and what they will bring to the game. But yes looking forward to the game.

Last time out I was very pleased with those involved in the second half and the way they kept going in the game and got us back into it"

The young lads came on in the semi final and made a positive impact in the game, will they be involved on Saturday in some capacity?

M.A. "We will have to look at availability, but yes some will be involved as they deserve their chance and have taken it in this competition"

On another note, the spot light is always shone on yourself, how has your backroom staff supported you this season?

M.A "They are a real pleasure to work with and have support me throughout the season in a number of ways that people don’t see and we’ll as the obvious ones.

I can’t speak highly enough of them all"
