Gaffer's thoughts on our three points

Congratulations on three points, we spoke after the Guilsfield game that you wanted a reaction, and after the Llay game being postponed this was our next game, were you happy with how the team performed?

M.A. "Yes I was pleased, as it was a result we had to grind out to be honest.

They made it very difficult for us and we had to find our reserve to win the game.

The whole squad had to contribute today to get the three points and that shows the belief and togetherness of the group, not just today but the season so far"

The game seemed to come to life late on, I bet that doesn't help the nerves?

M.A. "No, but I always believed that we’d get a chance and that someone had to take a moment in the game.

James and Sam took theirs from the bench and Danny when we needed it came up with a great strike"

Joe Palmer had a man of the match performance and controlled the midfield?

M.A. "Yes particularly second half, I thought he was outstanding and really drove the team forward and on to the three points"

Friday we have a semi final in the Welsh Blood service League cup against our league rivals Colwyn Bay, what type of game are you expecting?

M.A. "Exciting and tense.

It will be the third time this season and one that we want to win to progress to the final. Head to head this season they edge it and we want to change that stat"
