Thoughts on a busy week and the performance against Buckley Town

6 points out of 6 from two difficult games on paper, how happy are you with the squad?

M.A. "Of course. We have spoken a lot about taking responsibility as an individual and also as a group, particularly over these last few weeks. Again, we did and especially in the second half today. We’ve reiterated that the whole squad will get us to our target and particularly in the run in, every individual will contribute in a positive way"

Another important time to score this afternoon, with Joe being the first to react and give us the lead going into half time?

M.A. "Yes, I felt that we’d just got a foothold in the game, but weren’t playing as well as we could. Obviously to score seconds before half time is positive and allowed us to relax in the second half. We tweaked the shape too at half time which allowed us to get more crosses and bodies in the box and I felt we should have scored a couple of goals before Jordan did.

The build up play for Jordan Evans goal was excellent finished off with a brilliant goal from Jev?

M.A. "Wonderful goal from a wonderful player, simple as that. There are not many who can do that in our league. One of the things we always ask and reiterate to the lads before the game is take your moments.. that was his today!"

We always touch upon the goalscorers but the back 5, that is their second consecutive clean sheet this week?

M.A. "Yes really key to keep clean sheets and along with Keighan whoever I play at the back have a real desire to keep that clean sheet and allow those in front of them create and score. Our defenders set the building blocks for us every game"

That goal today for George gives him 19 goals in 22 games in the league?

M.A. "Great record so far for the season and I know George is very hungry to do better and better every game. That personal desire he has rubs off on the group too and follow his lead.

Attention turns to Caersws away on Saturday after a week of training?

M.A. "Yes we’ve a week of training and then 3 games in the week which will test us physically and mentally as a group. So it’s important to be together, manage ourselves well and make sure we are right for not just Caersws but Brickfield and Mold too"
