After a very consistent start at centre back, forming a good partnership with Nath Williams, Sam had a spell on the sidelines due to injury. He made his return 5 weeks later and his calmness on the ball in defence was a great component to keeping the pressure off.

Sam managed to play his part in the National Final and NEWFA Cup final to earn silverware for the club. It did look in doubt when he broke his arm playing against Ruthin Town at home.
