Baker joined Airbus back in 2021 at Youth level, where he played a lot of his football with our development team and Reserves, with his first goal coming against Cefn Druids in September 2021 in the Cymru Premier Development League North.

Due to a good run of form, he was handed his First Team Debut on the 17th September 2022 away at Pontypridd in the Cymru Premier, which resulted in a 1-0 defeat for Airbus.

Last Season, Sam was in a trio of players that made the most appearances for Airbus, clocking up 42 appearances in the Airbus shirt in all competitions. In the JD Cymru North, he went on to make 27 appearances, where he chipped in with 10 goals and 1 assist. With braces coming in the games against Mold Alex away from home and Gresford Athletic at home.

He saved his best until last with his goals, as he scored in the 4-0 win over Holywell Town in the NEWFA Cup Final, as he curled a right foot shot from the left side of the area into the top corner.
