Tyler McManus joined Airbus at Academy level when he was part of the under 11s age group and it was of many academy graduates who have made it on to the first team scene.
This season Tyler has gone on to make 40 appearances (27 league) and has made the right back position his own.
Two goals come from him this season, including one in our cup game against Porthmadog away in the FAW Welsh Cup.
McManus didn’t think twice about committing to the WingMakers, “Extremely happy to have agreed another contract with Skip and the club. I think this will be my 11th season with Airbus now, and I’m just excited to get going.
Being here for so long has meant Airbus is my second home, and the family I have around the club is too good to leave.
I will be trying for a much better season on a personal note as I know last season was below my standards in terms of assists especially.
However, for the team, it’s about winning even more than last year, and it’s something myself and the team know we can do.”
Even though Tyler is one of the youngsters in the group, he shows the pathway from the academy to the first team. During his time he has gone on to captain the first team, and his commitment and attitude on and off the pitch is a testimanent to the hard work he puts in.
