U10's Improving Week By Week

A second visit along the coast for the 10’s this season to play Colwyn Bay.

Our first visit was disjointed, but this time we took our performance to the next level.

From start to finish we pressed dominated possession, so much so Airbus goalkeeper Harry Sprowell had very little action, unless we challenged him and brought him into the match ourselves.

Airbus started the game fast and were very productive in possession.

We kept possession well and used our width.

Quickly this payed off with 2 clever finishes from Evan Hewitt with Jack Davies getting 2 assists from the left wing.

The 2 central midfielders linked up well early on and this payed dividends for Nataniel Rakowiecki as he added a third goal before the period ended - latching on to a precise pass from Benjamin McEvoy.

Into the second period and Airbus started with the same intensity as the first. Nataniel added 2 more goals to the tally with lovely strike from distance and a brave header from a corner.

Benjamin McEvoy got his rewards for his hard work with another fantastic long distance strike. 6-0 up at the break.

The team were tasked in the final period with keeping a clean sheet.

Everyone contributed to the task in hand and it was achieved with great teamwork. Not only did we keep a clean sheet we went on to add 4 more goals.

A looping long range shot from Myles Bennett, Jack Davies finishing a fine performance with a goal, Nataniel getting his 4th and Evan Hewitt completing his hat trick with a quick counter attack.

A pleasing team performance today with lots of positives we can take into the next game. Everyone was well disciplined and understood and achieved their individual tasks.
