A wet day but we needed it at Hollingsworth stadium today.

A great game today, the first game I have witnessed without hydration breaks, so to see players not tiring means our match fitness is obviously improving naturally.
Some cool finishes in first 15 minutes got us off to a flying start .
Our pressing made them lose possession in dangerous area up front, Sienna capitalised twice either side of a lovely lay off by Ellie May to Maisie Esp ,who despatched and then a penalty another for Maisie Esp.
A bit of an error and a mix up at the back left them with a goal back before half time.
They battled and started to out number us in midfield without hurting us .
We went to 3 at the back and that gave us control back in the middle.
Cia calmly slotted a slide rule pass to Ellie May to despatch ,and then it was Amelia’s turn to feed Ellie May for her second.
Maisie Esp then pressed and won the ball and pounced on the opportunity to drive through the defence and calmly despatch for her hat-trick.
Macey then won the ball back and threaded a pass through for Ellie May to despatch into the bottom corner for her hat-trick.
To finish the game off Maisie Esp latched into a mis controlled pass, she won possession and drove forward and unleashed a drive into the back of net to make it 4 for her.
A dominant performance by our defence today let our midfield play and some great crosses from Seren deserved goals.
