It was a blustery wet morning down at the Hollingsworth stadium this morning.

There were a lot of nerves around as the girls prepared for their opening game.

The wind changed after warming up and it was blowing against us and after the first 5 minutes the nerves settled and the girls set about the business with Ellie May finding the net after being set through by Macey, there were many excellent goals in the first 37 minutes which killed the game as there was no let up from the home side, some excellent finishes and runs. Amelia and Lauren hitting the net with some powerful shooting on the end of great runs .

But the goal of the game had to be the team goal of the day, it started from the back and worked up the left ,cut back to the middle for Macey to despatch.

It was 8-0 after 37 minutes. They came out in the second half and after 2 quick fire goals the girls eased off a bit and Ruthin took the chance to score, which then with Seren causing havoc on the left and with her left foot despatched, 3 strikes to make a quick fire hat trick

Indi played well today completing her own hat trick of assists
