Airbus produced an outstanding team performance to secure an impressive 5-0 away victory over Mynydd Isa U16, combining clinical finishing, creative attacking play and a disciplined defensive display.

The visitors made the perfect start when Isabelle opened the scoring in the 6th minute. Reacting quickest to a loose clearance on the edge of the penalty area, she unleashed a powerful strike that flew past the Mynydd Isa goalkeeper to give Airbus an early advantage and set the tone for the afternoon.

Airbus continued to control possession and create opportunities, with their pressure paying off again in the 27th minute. Excellent work from Indi created the opening for Ellie-May, who finished confidently to double Airbus' lead.

The attacking momentum continued as Maisie E added a third before the break with a superb long-range effort that left the opposition goalkeeper with no chance. The strike capped a dominant first-half display and gave Airbus a commanding advantage heading into the interval.

After the restart, Airbus showed no signs of easing off. Their attacking combinations continued to flourish, and Megan got on the scoresheet after being played in by Maisie E down the left wing, further highlighting the team's willingness to create chances for one another. The scoring was completed by Lauren, who was perfectly positioned at the back post to finish off another excellent attacking move, with Megan providing the assist. It was Lauren's fourth consecutive game on the scoresheet, underlining her rich vein of form and capping a comprehensive 5-0 victory for the visitors.

Defensively, Airbus were outstanding from start to finish. The backline, featuring Millie, Chloe , Maise G and Esme, stayed disciplined, well-organised and composed under pressure, limiting Mynydd Isa's attacking threat throughout the match. Their efforts were backed up by goalkeeper Laila, who remained alert whenever called upon and secured a well-earned clean sheet.

A dominant display from Airbus, featuring five goals, a clean sheet, excellent teamwork and another strong all-round squad performance. The victory was built on quality in attack, discipline in defence and control in midfield, making it a thoroughly deserved result for the young Airbus side.

Cia was named Player of the Match following a superb midfield performance. Operating in an anchoring role, she controlled the tempo of the game with an excellent range of passing, breaking up opposition attacks and providing the platform for Airbus to dominate possession throughout the match.
