FAW Welsh Cup Round 3 for the WingMakers on Saturday as they make the trip to the Essity Stadium
Our attention turns to Cup action this weekend as we travel to Cymru Premier side Flint Town.
A 5-2 win away at Holyhead, saw Airbus progress into round three of the JD Welsh Cup. On the day there was a double from George Peers, with Kaiden Cooke, Tyler McManus and Sam Baker also adding their names to the score sheet.
Tyler McManus is relishing a derby against Flint, “Looking forward to a big chance to bounce back after a really disappointing loss on Friday in the league.
Flint are a great outfit and have had a great season so far in the Welsh Prem, so we know what to expect.
We’ve had a tough few weeks as a group with unexpected losses, so it’s a great opportunity to put those wrongs right in a game where anything can happen as it’s the cup. I’m sure the lads will be right up for it as it’s also a local derby”
Flint secured their place into this round with a 3-0 win away at Lock Stock Adral North East side Bow Street. On the day there was a double for Flint’s number 9 Elliott Reeves and a goal from Ben Wynne to complete a comfortable progression into the next round.
We need your support on Saturday and we hope to see as many of you there to cheer on the lads as they look to maybe causing an upset in the FAW Welsh Cup!
