Caersws FC Preview
WingMakers looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season
Saturday we return to home turf as we welcome Caersws FC to The Hollingsworth Group Stadium with an earlier kick off than normal (1pm)
Last weekend we had a very good win against Guilsfield on the road after going 1-0 down early on in the game.
After picking up player of the month in his first month, Mason Blackwell-Jones is looking towards putting what the squad has worked on this week into the game on Saturday, “It’s another tough game but we are glad to be back at home, they will come with a game plan.
They’ve shown so far this season they are capable of pushing teams right till the end and we expect them to be no different coming here, they have togetherness and quality in forward areas so we will have to stay switched on at all times.
We feel if we do our job and stick to our principles we should come out with a positive result and keep the pressure on the teams in and around ourselves.
We hope you enjoy the game and we can reward you with a good result”
Last season, we had two victories over Caersws last season, where the mid-wales team finished 12th in the JD Cymru North. Our first meeting was a 5-0 scoreline with George Peers scoring four and Danny Warren also on the score sheet.
As the WingMakers are unbeaten in the league, our visitors have had a mixed start to the season with a win against Brickfield Rangers and losses against Denbigh Town, Mold Alexandra, Newtown, Rhyl and Holywell Town.
Caersws were our final opponents of last season, and Caersws nearly called an upset when Airbus were looking to win, where Airbus were still in a of a slight chance of winning the league.
We know Saturday will be a tough game but we look forward to welcoming Caersws on Saturday lunchtime.
