Gresford FC Preview
After a weekend break we take on Gresford Athletic this evening
Patience was key in our last league game against Caersws and this show as the WingMakers went on to win 4-0.
This evening we take on Gresford Athletic, who have had a mixed start to the season, with two wins coming against Ruthin Town and Mold Alexandra, losses against Guilsfield, Denbigh, Llandudno and Holywell. They also had a very eventful draw against Flint Mountain which finished in a 4-4 draw.
Airbus are still unbeaten in the league this season and Sam Rickett knows they have to be switched on this evening, “Looking forward to another Friday night game under the lights.
We have had another good start to the season and the lads are all well aware we need to keep that going to ensure we come away with the 3 points.
Every game is important and to reach our goal which is to be at the top at the end of this season we need to remain focused and keep a winning momentum”
Last season, Airbus came away with wins in both our fixtures against Gresford. A 3-0 win at The Rock with goals from Sam Baker, Joe Palmer and Danny Warren.
In the return fixture at the Airfield, Airbus finished with a 2-0 win, with both goals coming from Sam Baker.
