With the WingMakers sitting in third place in the table after a 3-2 loss last time out against Denbigh. Our hosts sit in 8th place, with their last game coming nearly 3 weeks ago due to the weather and Cup games.
Mason Blackwell-Jones knows Saturday with by a tough test for the squad, “This weekend is a chance for us to get back to league action and focus on our main objective for the Season.
We know how tough of a place Mold is to go to and it will be a different challenge to when we last played them. The lads have been working really hard in training to ensure we are best prepared for the challenge and hopefully we can come out with a positive result.
We look forward to seeing you there and we hope you enjoy the game”
Our league meetings with Mold last season ended up in a win for Airbus and a draw, which halted our league title charge.
Our first meeting last season was at Mold where we come out 3-0 winners, with a brace from Sam Baker and a goal from Oli Lanceley. The return fixture as mentioned earlier was towards the end of the Season, where we welcomed Mold to the Hollingsworth Stadium.
A goal early on in that game in April come from Kaiden Cooke and Airbus had a lot of chances to increase their lead, but the visitors come away with a point that day after a late goal from Lucas Gregson.
