Brickfield Rangers FC Preview
After dropping points last weekend against Mold, Airbus are looking to get back to winning ways as they make the trip to Brickfield.
Airbus salvaged a point last weekend as George Peers scored late on after Mold took an early lead through Harvey Morris.
Nathan Williams knows Saturday will be a tough test again for The Wingmakers, “Another game on Saturday, which will be tough, as Brickfield is a hard place to go, as their home results show.
We haven’t been in the best from or played as well as we can lately, but the lads have been putting in the work this week to make sure we’re prepared as we can on Saturday.
Hopefully we can pick up 3 points and get back to winning ways”
Airbus welcomed Brickfield to the Hollingsworth Group Stadium on a bank holiday Monday back in August. That day was an impressive second half show by Airbus as they went on to score five goals and take the three points available.
The first goal of the half came from Nathan Williams, which was assisted by Mason Blackwell-Jones, and then two goals followed from Kaiden Cooke to make it 3-0 in 10 minutes of the second half. Cooke was able to complete his hat-trick when Airbus were rewarded a penalty and then a late goal from James Davies completed the 5-0 scoreline and a clean sheet for the hosts.
Hopefully the weather is kind to us, and we look forward to our trip to Brickfield on
Saturday afternoon!
