Nathaniel MG Cup R2 Preview
We take on the Current Welsh Premier Champions TNS
Saturday we travel to Park Hall to take on TNS in round 2 of the Nathaniel MG Cup.
After a bye for both teams in the first round, this will be the third time both clubs have met in the last 12 months
The Gaffer Mark Allen knows it will be a tough task on Saturday but has confidence in his squad, “We know we have a very difficult challenge on Saturday.
However, we have a had a really positive week training and certainly looking forward to it.
Everyone has been sharp and certainly ready to give everything as we will all need to be at our best”
Our first meeting was in R3 of the Nathaniel MG Cup, when we welcomed them to The Hollingsworth Group Stadium. The visitors come out winners that evening with a slim 1-0 win.
Our next encounter was in the FAW Welsh Cup and the home side come out winners comfortably that day with a 5-0 win, but Airbus that day had some great chances that weren't taken.
Tyler McManus is relishing another chance against TNS, “Looking forward to what will be a really tough test on Saturday, but one that myself and the lads are looking forward too.
TNS are obviously a fantastic side, so we’ll have to be right up for it. Games in the cup are almost a one off so anything can happen, but we know it’ll be tough.
After a really positive start to the league last week, without playing that well, I’m sure the lads are feeling confident and we will go there with the right mind-set to hopefully cause an upset”
