It was a wet and windy morning in Oswestry this morning for the U17’s.

Pitch was bobbly and long grass as not been able to cut in the wet weather.

Unfortunately they played down the slope first with the wind behind them, Airbus couldn’t get the ball out of their half in the first 20 minutes.

The hosts quickly forced errors and capitalised on them, But after the first 20 minutes the visitors got into the game although not giving the hosts many problems.

Then the hosts spent the last 10 minutes picking back up on their advantage of the wind and slope and went in deserved 7-0 up.

The second half was different with the hosts playing up the hill and against the wind.

Airbus kept trying to play football and were unlucky not to have a got a penalty as Megan was brought down after a defence splitting pass from Sophie

Airbus did manage a few other chances but the hosts did hit a glorious top bins goal and scored from a mistake, but Airbus did keep going trying to play football right to the end .

The final score was 9-0
