Airbus’ young reserves secured a deserved away victory against a hardworking Holywell side, coming through 4–2 winners and looking comfortable in the end.

Holywell took the lead after eight minutes, but Airbus responded positively. Will Hewitt brought the visitors level in the 22nd minute, with Dylan Cusato providing the assist.

Two goals in quick succession shortly before half-time then put Airbus firmly in control. Kacper Bury made it 2–1 in the 41st minute before Will Hewitt added his second a minute later. Louis Bebbington-Rodgers supplied the assists for both goals, giving Airbus a 3–1 advantage at the break.

Holywell continued to battle and pulled a goal back in the 52nd minute, but Airbus came through the challenge to secure all three points. Louis Bebbington-Rodgers rounded off a well executed free kick routine with a goal in stoppage time, assisted by Dylan Cusato, to complete the scoring sliding him in.

A special mention goes to U16 Jack Hardstaff, who came on in the 67th minute to make his reserves debut. A proud milestone for Jack and another positive example of the opportunities available to young players progressing through the Airbus pathway.

A strong result for this young squad against opponents who fought hard throughout. Well done, lads!

Player of the week could have gone to 2-3 players but this weekend Louis Bebbington-Rogers takes the credit. Louis Bebb is a fantastic leader and has a great presence on the pitch and in the dressing room. Adding to the goal contributions this weekend is just what he does, all round top player. Well done Bebb
