Airbus UK Broughton were unable to hold on to their first-half advantage as Penybont scored twice after the break to claim all three points.

There were encouraging signs from Airbus in the opening stages, with Sean Moscrop and Kaiden Cooke combining well down the right in the third minute. Their neat link-up play released the No.10, who beat Daniel Jefferies before seeing his cross overhit.

Penybont created an opportunity of their own four minutes later when Danny Barrow threaded an excellent ball into Ryan Hill's path, but Sam Rickett anticipated the danger superbly and won possession.

Airbus continued to look threatening, with Mason Blackwell-Jones winning the ball back and finding Jake Roberts, although the forward was adjudged to have been in an offside position.

Tyler Walker then showed good strength to turn on the ball in the 19th minute before seeing his effort rise over the crossbar.

The breakthrough arrived in the 26th minute as Airbus' pressure finally told. Moscrop won a header in the centre circle before Roberts did brilliantly to hold the ball up and bring Cooke into play. Cooke released Jordan Evans, who made an excellent run in behind, before receiving the ball back. Cooke then delivered a dangerous cross into the area, with Liam Shephard diverting the ball into his own net to give Airbus the lead.

Airbus looked to build on the advantage and came close again six minutes later. Rickett played a superb ball into Cooke, who laid it off before Roberts was found with a ball over the top. Roberts showed excellent strength to keep possession and bring Blackwell-Jones into play, but his effort was comfortably dealt with by Daniel Higgs.

Cooke was involved again in the 37th minute, seeing his shot blocked on the edge of the area. Peers reacted quickest to the rebound, but his follow-up was also blocked before the ball eventually found the side netting.

Penybont remained a threat before the break, with Nathan Wood firing wide from the edge of the area.

Airbus had to defend a spell of pressure late in the half, but Rickett produced an excellent clearance from a dangerous cross before Walker blazed over at the other end.

Airbus began the second half positively, with Cooke's excellent first touch allowing him to drive forward before his cross was eventually cleared.

Walker then found himself unmarked on the edge of the Penybont area, but Louie Fallon produced an excellent save low to his right to deny him.

Penybont continued to push and were denied again when Josh Stevenson made a fantastic block to prevent Barrow's effort in the 51st minute.

The visitors eventually found their equaliser in the 54th minute. Hill made a clever run in behind the Airbus defence and, having gone untracked, managed to squeeze his effort beyond Fallon from a narrow angle to make it 1-1.

Airbus were forced to withstand further pressure moments later as a scramble developed inside the box, but Nath Williams did well to help clear the danger.

Airbus continued to threaten going forward, with Cooke once again causing problems down the left before finding Blackwell-Jones inside. His effort was well saved by Higgs.

A dangerous free kick presented another opportunity in the 70th minute. Evans stepped up to take it, but his effort went straight into the hands of Higgs.

Airbus made their first change two minutes later, with Jack Parry replacing Jake Roberts.

However, it was Penybont who struck again in the 79th minute. Airbus failed to clear their lines and Ethan Cann reacted quickest to the loose ball, calmly passing his finish into the corner of the net to complete the turnaround.

Airbus looked for an immediate response, with George Peers going down inside the penalty area after a tackle, but the appeals were waved away.

Evans then delivered a dangerous cross from the left towards Peers, who opted to take a touch to bring the ball under control rather than strike first time, allowing the chance to pass.

James Hughes was introduced for Blackwell-Jones in the 84th minute as Airbus continued to search for an equaliser.

Cooke came close five minutes later when he found a yard of space, but his effort was dragged wide.

Deep into stoppage time, Parry did brilliantly to hold the ball up before releasing it to the left. Evans delivered towards the back post, but Hughes was unable to get on the end of it after being held off the ball.

Despite a positive first-half display and taking the lead, Airbus were unable to find a second goal and Penybont's two second-half strikes proved decisive.
