Saturday is a trip to Bridgend to take on one of the unbeaten teams in the Cymru Premier, as we take on Penybont who sit second in the league behind TNS

Last weekend both Airbus and Penybont had comfortable wins, as the WingMakers put 4 passed struggling Flint Town, including a hat trick from George Peers. Penybont were 4-0 up before half time against Ammanford, and there was another goal added two minutes from time to give them a 5-1 win.

Our first meeting was back in 2019 in the Cymru Premier, the score line ended in Penybont's favour as it finished 3-1 at the Dragonbet Stadium, the return fixture at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium was more of a tighter affair, as Penybont edged it with a 2-1 win. George Peers scored within 20 minutes to give Airbus the lead, but the visitors equalised 10 minutes later and scored with three minutes remaining of the 90 to take all three points.

We have had two other meetings since and they occurred in the 2022/23 Cymru Premier season and unfortunately they ended in defeat for the WingMakers.
